I know that what you are experiencing is so much bigger than any of us here could imagine. I can actually feel the sincere awe in your posts, and am inspired by the work God is doing through you.
What great arrival and first day stories. I prayed for a safe journey and no issues with customs, especially with the younger crew. Courtney and I anxiously await the stories Taylor and Logan bring back - from the middle school girl perspective. They can teach us all so much from this experience. We will continue to pray for your strength, especially physical for those hauling the marl and building the houses. Each night - remember to look at the sky and know that we are all gazing at the same beautiful moon as you and thinking of you all. Do good things for the people of Harmons ~ We love you all (especially you Mick!) and thank you for your giving hearts.
On January 20th, 2008 a group of 25 adults and students are making their way to Harmons, Jamaica. For a week, we will build houses, pour foundations and love on the people of Harmons. We ask that you pray that we are safe and have tons of energy. But more importantly, we ask that you pray that we would see God at work--in us and the people of Harmons--and that not one of us would come back the same.
